Job Summary:
The Manager will oversee and coordinate all operational, financial, and administrative aspects of the company’s order shipment and delivery processes. The role involves managing teams, ensuring seamless logistics operations, maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving business growth through process efficiency and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
• Oversee daily shipment and delivery operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor the entire supply chain, from order processing to final delivery, addressing any bottlenecks or delays.
• Optimize delivery routes, fleet management, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations. - Team Leadership
• Lead and supervise a team of delivery personnel, logistics coordinators, and support staff.
• Conduct regular training sessions on customer service, safety, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate staff performance, set goals, and provide mentorship to foster a motivated and productive team. - Financial and Administrative Oversight
• Manage budgets and financial performance, including cost analysis and control to maintain profitability.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management, outlining key metrics and performance indicators.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and client payments in collaboration with the accounts department. - Customer Relations and Service
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Gather feedback to improve service quality and identify opportunities for new services or improvements. - Strategic Planning and Business Development
• Identify new market opportunities and create strategies to expand the business.
• Implement innovative technologies and systems to improve shipment tracking and delivery accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote services and establish a strong market presence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting background with experience in handling compliance and regulatory matters.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Proficiency in logistics software, shipment tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for team and client interactions.
