Job Purpose:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and strategies that align with the hospital’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to align with the hospital’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, job advertisements, interviews, and onboarding.
• Implement employee performance management systems, including appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and employee development plans.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee welfare programs.
• Foster employee engagement and promote workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Mediate disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters to maintain positive employee relations.
• Plan and oversee training and development programs to enhance staff skills and competencies.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field; certification in HR is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

- Position: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
Job Purpose:
The CFO oversees all financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the hospital’s annual budgets, financial strategies, and long-term plans.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard hospital assets.
• Advise the executive team on financial trends, forecasts, and strategic investments.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, donors, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement and oversee internal controls to ensure accountability and prevent financial mismanagement.
• Supervise finance staff and provide mentorship to enhance departmental performance.
• Ensure proper utilization and management of donor funding and grants.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA certification required.
• At least 7 years of experience in senior financial management, preferably in a healthcare setting.

- Position: Insurance Claims Officer
Job Purpose:
The Insurance Claims Officer ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and timely reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and pre-authorization requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursements.
• Review claim documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance provider requirements.
• Address claim rejections and coordinate with insurance companies to resolve disputes.
• Maintain up-to-date records of claims, payments, and patient documentation.
• Provide guidance to patients on insurance policies and claim procedures.
• Collaborate with billing and finance teams to reconcile insurance payments.
• Monitor trends in insurance claims and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, insurance regulations, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements:

- Position: Stores Manager
Job Purpose:
The Stores Manager oversees the hospital’s inventory management, ensuring efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the hospital’s inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and consumables.
• Develop and enforce policies for procurement, storage, and stock distribution.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods to ensure quality control.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
• Implement and monitor inventory management systems to enhance efficiency.
• Train and supervise stores staff, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Develop strategies to minimize wastage, stockouts, and obsolescence.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the storage of medical supplies and hazardous materials.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in stores or inventory management, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and excellent organizational skills.
- Position: Records Officer
Job Purpose:
The Records Officer is responsible for maintaining and managing the hospital’s medical and administrative records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize, maintain, and update patient medical records and administrative documents.
• Develop and implement systems for the secure storage, archiving, and retrieval of records.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations in managing sensitive information.
• Enter and update data in the hospital’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely access to patient records for clinical purposes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of hospital records.
• Address record discrepancies and resolve data entry errors promptly.
• Train staff on records management procedures and system usage.
• Maintain logs for record access and ensure proper authorization processes.
• Prepare reports on record-keeping activities and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Records Management, Information Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in records management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent IT skills.
