Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures as outlined in the company’s HR Manual, ensuring company-wide compliance.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance using the biometric system and provide periodic reports to management.
- Handle end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, disciplinary actions, staff records management, and exit procedures.
- Coordinate and support performance evaluations, training needs assessments, and staff development programs.
- Act as the main point of contact for employee relations, addressing grievances, mediating disputes, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and advise management on HR best practices and regulatory updates.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records and manage leave tracking and approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a fast-paced or retail/technology setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Uganda’s labor laws and HR compliance practices.
- Proficiency in using biometric systems and HR software for attendance and record management.
