Job duties:
Oversee the maintenance, repair and upgrading of school buildings, grounds and infrastructure.
Manage utilities, including water, electricity and waste disposal, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
Supervise and coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialised projects.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.
Monitor and manage budgets related to estates and facilities management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional certification in facilities or estates management is an added advantage.
Practical experience in water systems, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage and supervise contractors.
3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
