Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor ensures the efficient execution of day-to-day manufacturing, sales, and operational activities. This role involves coordinating production processes, supervising staff, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business goals, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Coordination
   • Oversee manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules are met and products adhere to quality standards.
   • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational activities with customer demands and market trends.
   • Manage resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and workforce, to maximize efficiency.
   • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
2. Team Supervision and Development
   • Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a high-quality output.
   • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
   • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
   • Implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
   • Proactively address operational challenges and resolve issues to ensure smooth production cycles.
   • Regularly review and update operational procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
4. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams
   • Work closely with the sales and marketing departments to ensure production aligns with customer needs and market dynamics.
   • Provide feedback on production capabilities to guide marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
   • Support promotional activities by ensuring product availability and timely delivery to customers.
5. Inventory and Resource Management
   • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to prevent shortages or over stocking.
   • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for production.
   • Maintain accurate records of inventory and production activities for reporting and analysis.
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Enforce strict adherence to quality control standards to ensure products meet health, beauty, and safety requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of production processes to maintain operational compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to minimize disruptions and protect the company’s reputation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in an operational supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing, sales, or health and beauty products.
• Proven ability to drive efficiency, quality improvements, and team development.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sales strategies, and quality assurance protocols.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in operational reporting and performance tracking tools.
