Job Duties
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate sales team members to ensure optimal performance.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of sales leads through networking, referrals, and other prospecting techniques.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans tailored to the insurance market.
- Organize and conduct client meetings to present and explain insurance products, highlighting their benefits and value.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Monitor and analyze sales team performance, preparing regular reports for management.
- Coordinate sales campaigns and promotions to boost product awareness and sales.
- Stay updated on insurance industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to remain competitive.
- Handle client inquiries, objections, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree from a recognized institution (a business-related course is an added advantage).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry, is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a persuasive ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Highly self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
