Job Title: Pastry Chef

Job duties

  • Prepare a wide variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, chapati, samosas, and donuts.
  • Decorate and present pastries in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Ensure all items are baked/fried to perfection and served fresh daily.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
  • Assist with developing new recipes and seasonal menu items.
  • Maintain consistency in quality and portion sizes.

Requirements

  • A certificate in Bakery or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker.
  • Ability to prepare both sweet and savory pastries and baked goods.
  • Knowledge of dough preparation and baking techniques.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail in decoration and presentation.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about quality and customer satisfaction.
