Various Positions:

1. IT Specialist (1 position)

Location: Kampala

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain the transport app to ensure seamless functionality for riders and customers.
  2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to riders and app users.
  3. Coordinate with developers to implement updates, fixes, and feature improvements.
  4. Oversee rider accounts, ensuring proper registration, authentication, and data security.
  5. Provide training and technical guidance to riders on using the app effectively.
  6. Manage app data, generate performance reports, and analyze usage trends for optimization.
  7. Ensure IT compliance with data protection laws and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing apps or IT systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with mobile app platforms and user management systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

2. Field Sales Officers – Kampala (2 positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and onboard new riders and users for the transport app.
  2. Conduct field visits to promote the app’s services and benefits to potential customers and riders.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with riders and clients in Kampala.
  4. Gather feedback from riders and users to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Achieve monthly sales and recruitment targets set by management.
  6. Represent the company at marketing events, roadshows, and community engagements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in field sales or customer acquisition is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the Kampala region and its transport industry.

3. Field Sales Officers – Jinja (2 positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit and onboard new riders and users for the transport app in Jinja.
  2. Conduct field visits and engage local communities to promote the app.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with riders, local businesses, and customers.
  4. Collect user feedback and provide insights to improve service delivery.
  5. Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare regular performance reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in sales or client relationship management.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of Jinja’s geography and local business landscape.

4. Front Desk Executive (1 position)

Location: Kampala

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the office.
  2. Answer and route phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  3. Handle inquiries and provide information about the company’s services.
  4. Manage front desk operations, including scheduling and appointment management.
  5. Receive and distribute mail and packages.
  6. Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
  7. Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Transport Sales Manager (1 position)

Location: Kampala

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the user base and increase revenue.
  2. Manage and lead the field sales teams in Kampala and Jinja to achieve sales targets.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and partners.
  5. Provide training and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their performance.
  6. Track and report sales performance metrics to senior management.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to improve service delivery and app usability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in transport or technology.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the transport industry and digital platforms.
